Your vehicle will be featured on our website and marketed across the world wide web! We have 120 days in which to sell your vehicle. We will provide you with a recommended retail selling price and you will provide us with a minimum that you are willing to accept. It is in both our best interest to get you the best (and most fair) price possible, as soon as possible. We take a percentage of the sale price. It’s that simple.

If you choose, you can be present while we review you vehicles feature and confirm that everything is functioning. If there is anything in particular that you would like us to make note of, feel free to let us know what that is. Offers may be contingent to verifying the vehicle’s mechanical condition with a test drive. If you decide to sell, we can prepare payment within 24 hours. You can also take up to 7 days to compare your options. If you decide to trade, you can apply any positive equity from your current car to the down payment on your next car and even leave with a your new car the same day.

Do I need an appointment to sell my vehicle?
While an appointment isn’t required, it is recommended. Generally we can get to your appraisal within 15 minutes. However, in order to ensure that you will receive the service that you deserve in a timely fashion, it is recommended that you set an appointment so that we can be prepared to accommodate you without any delays.
How do you determine my offer?
An experienced appraiser will examine your car and review current market conditions. They will consider vehicle condition including mileage, make/model, year, vehicle history, and long-term maintenance.
What do I need to sell / trade my vehicle?
Requirements can vary, but there are a few items You will find are almost universal. These include:
- Your vehicle’s title or payoff information. All titleholders should be present to sign.
- Valid and current registration.
- Valid state-issued photo ID for all title holders.
- All keys and remotes
If you are trading, you should also have a valid and current insurance card.
How do I get paid for my vehicle?
If you choose to sell your vehicle, The Auto Exchange will give you a check within 24 hours of the time when the vehicle and title are received.
What if I owe more on my vehicle than the amount you offer?
If your payoff amount greater than the vehicle’s value, the difference is called “negative equity.” In some cases, the negative equity can be included in your financing when you buy a new vehicle. If the the entire amount can’t be included in the financing or if you are selling the vehicle to us, you would be responsible for the difference.
